LaSalle Catholic College
Bankstown operates as a systemic school within the Catholic Archdiocese of
Sydney. The College is directed
by the De La Salle
Brothers in the tradition of St. John Baptist De La Salle. Both these
sources bring richness to the College in terms of quality teaching,
administration, facilities, education resources and spiritual development.
The College is a Catholic Secondary Years 7 -12 school, providing excellence in
education within a Christian environment. The Lasallian ethos of the College
provides experiences that develop an understanding and appreciation of all
people, fostering unity and reflecting the multicultural nature of the College
and the Australian community.
Previously an all boy student population, the College enrolled girls into Year
11 in 2004 to form a co-educational senior setting. The inclusion of girls in
the senior school years provides a diversity of options in terms of subject
choices, learning and social environment to assist students in the transition to
adult life. For more information click here. |
